Finally, to get it set up, you'll need to perform numerous manual changes to the conduit settings. However, you get what you pay for: I hit a few roadblocks setting up Palm synchronization, as the process isn't documented anywhere except Individual's FAQ page online. That's a great perk, especially considering that many competing PIMs charge extra for that capability.
Anytime organizer deluxe 13.3 software#
Individual Software supplies the conduits necessary to sync AnyTime with a Palm, a Pocket PC, or even Outlook. AnyTime can also print calendars, contact lists, and the like to PDF, though I had trouble figuring out where the program had deposited the files, and it didn't give me the option to title them. You can download free extras such as holiday and sports calendars and an integrated word-of-the-day module. Same goes for sending e-mail (AnyTime links to your external mail client).īeyond the standard PIM functions, AnyTime offers a simple expense manager, a well-rounded password generator/organizer, and a world clock that lets you stick up to 12 independently running clocks on the desktop. But because you can't select multiple contacts, you're limited to one-at-a-time envelopes. Standout features include AutoSchedule, in which you right-click a contact to set up an appointment or to-do item quickly a date/time stamp for easy journaling in the Note Book module and push-button envelope printing. Like most PIMs, it provides the usual day, week, month and year views for your calendar, and lets you see abbreviated or expanded views of your address book. Suffice it to say that the program wrangles information like a pro.

Space doesn't permit me to list even half of AnyTime's calendaring, contact-management, to-do and note-taking capabilities. Packed with every feature I need (including several not found in Outlook 2003), AnyTime is blissfully easy to use and a steal at $29.95 (direct). In my home office, I've abandoned it in favor of AnyTime Organizer Deluxe 10.0. It's also overcomplicated and, some would argue, overpriced, at $109 list. Let's face it: Microsoft Outlook is overkill for most home and small-business users. Best Hosted Endpoint Protection and Security Software.
